Are you an Electrical Design Engineer seeking to expand your expertise and contribute to the dynamic rail industry, specialising in switchgear solutions?

You will receive the correct level of training for the project you work on, and these can range electrically and mechanically to suit your interests in power system design. Hybrid working is welcomed.

Due to significant growth, the company is seeking additional Electrical Design Engineers to join the team. You will benefit from the mentorship of a highly experienced and skilled design team that handles projects end-to-end, from concept to commissioning. Your work will be diverse and challenging, ensuring no two days are alike.

This role entails collaborating with clients on a diverse range of electrical design projects, encompassing the development of control and protection schemes, cable calculations, substation designs, recommendations, reports, risk assessments, and project implementation for both high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems.

The Role:

* Electrical Design Engineer

* Design, Specification and Reporting

* AutoCAD to produce diagrams, layouts, details drawings, and wiring

* Protection systems, Flow load, analysis and fault studies.

Candidate Requirements:

* HNC or Engineering Degree

* AutoCAD and load flow and fault studies

* SCADA and PLC
