Flair Group is currently working with an industry-recognized building maintenance and fit-out contractor. With national contracts and partnerships with the UK's most established companies, they are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Brighton.
As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to support our operations
- Maintain and update a database of active and inactive suppliers
- Manage supplier performance metrics, including:
- Quote speed
- Quality (customer complaint rate, audit performance, certifications)
- On-time delivery
- Cost performance
- Volume allocation
- Evaluate quotes returned from suppliers and negotiate terms to achieve the best value
- Negotiate and manage master agreements with suppliers
- Monitor and report on supplier performance, addressing any issues promptly and effectively
- Collaborate with internal teams to align supply chain activities with company objectives
- Drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes and supplier relationships
Experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role
- Proven experience in supplier negotiation and vendor management
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and efficiency
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt in a fast-pacedenvironment
- A strategic thinker with a passion for continuous improvement in supply chain operations
