This role seeks a proactive Facilities Manager to lead in maintaining the daily operations of facilities within a public sector organisation. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing facilities management policies and procedures, as well as managing the function.

Description
As a Facilities Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the Facilities Management team to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Develop and implement Facilities Management policies and procedures.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to maximise value for money.
- Coordinate Continuity Plan.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee maintenance and repair of facilities.
- Coordinate space planning and manage office moves.
- Prepare and manage the budget forecast and management for all services.
- Manage team performance
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives within the organisation.
Profile
A successful Facilities Manager should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Facilities Management or a related field - BIFM Member Grade or above
- NEBOSH knowledge of Health & Safety legislation & statutory requirements.
- Change management experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Knowledge of Data Protection Act
- Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
- Microsoft Office 365 experience
