Mechanical Estates Manager - NHS
Band 7
Venn Group are working with an NHS Trust based in Sussex to recruit for an interim Mechanical Estates Manager.
The post holder will be expected to provide a safe, efficient and cost effective estates operational and maintenance service for all operational, trade, specialist technicians, and supervisors. They will be responsible for all aspects of Engineering & Building Services and will ensure the reliability of the engineering infrastructure, systems and equipment.
Duration: 6 moths
Location: East Sussex
Rate: Band 7 - £24.27 - £26.98 per hour
The successful candidate will:
- Manage a team of Mechanical tradesman, technicians and supervisors
- Ensure day to day operations of the department are being carried out
- Ensure PPMs and SPMs are met
- Improve overall compliance and performance in department
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as an Authorised Person for any appropriate building system (e.g. medical gases, HVAC etc.)
- Experience managing teams and meeting targets
- Strong and clear communication skills
- Previous NHS or Healthcare experience is desireable but not essential
