The Role

We are seeking an experienced B2B Inside Sales Manager to play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of their core product. You will be responsible for building a pipeline, generating significant sales, and developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth. Your responsibilities:

  • New Sales: Selling the product to new customers, achieving ambitious targets aligned to company objectives.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a sales consultant, guiding them to meet and exceed sales targets. As growth targets are achieved, recruit, train, and develop additional sales representatives to build and expand the sales team.
  • Sales Planning: Develop and implement sales plans to drive revenue growth for the product. Analyse market trends and identify new opportunities to stay competitive.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance current sales processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Implement best practices to optimise the sales funnel and increase lead conversion rates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align strategies and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance, present detailed reports to management, and provide accurate forecasts to guide business decisions. Utilise a data-driven approach to ensure sales strategies are effective and aligned with business objectives.

The Person

  • Demonstrable experience in a sales management role in a B2B environment. Ideally this will be in SaaS/Tech, although those with a consultancy or service background will be considered.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong ability to lead, mentor, and coach a sales team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Data-driven approach to sales strategy and performance evaluation.
  • Commercially minded with negotiation skills
  • A deep understanding and capacity for empathy towards both colleagues and customers.

The Terms

  • Salary £70k base with £100k+ OTE uncapped.
  • Minimum 30 hours per week or full-time. Open to flexibility and hybrid working (1-2 days a week in the Brighton office which is close to the station with great views of the sea and the Downs).
  • 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and an extra day for your birthday.
  • Swappable Bank Holidays, so you can take time off for religious or cultural celebrations you observe.
