My Client, a market leading, multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, which specialises in Flood Risk, Drainage and River Engineering, is searching for a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their Flood Risk and Drainage Team based in Brighton.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly team of Engineers to complete Flood Risk, Environmental, Drainage and River Projects for Automotive and Residential Development Projects for Housing Developers, Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients.

As a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer you will be required to complete technical work including;

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.

-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.

-Flood Consequence Assessments.

-Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.

-Drainage design using Microdrainage and Causeway Flow.

-Project Management and Mentoring.

It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Geoscience, Hydrology or Civil Engineering and experience working for a Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk or Drainage Projects.

It is essential for applicants to reside locally and have experience using drainage design software including Microdrainage or Causeway Flow.

You will be expected to work from the office on a hybrid basis for training purposes.
