About the accountancy firmPentagon Talent are excited to be partnering with one of the fastest growing accountancy firms in Sussex to recruit for an excellent Credit Controller for their office in Brighton. Our client provide a full range of services including but not limited too; accounting, advisory, payroll, taxation, auditing and financial planning for a variety of clients and sole-traders.

Duties and responsibilitiesAs a Credit Controller you will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to;

  • Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts.
  • Chasing overdue invoices via phone, email and letter.
  • Ensuring timely payments are made.
  • Reconciling invoices and managing accounts queries.
  • Checking and posting receipts.
  • Analysing statements to check credit risk.

Qualifications and skills requiredIn order succeed as a Credit Controller you will have at least a couple of years experience working within a credit control department. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well as a team and independently. You will have good Excel skills and attention to detail.
