Sonic Summary

A SQL DBA is required to join our client on an initial 6-month contract.
The role involves managing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL Server databases in a hybrid working environment.
Candidates should have proven experience as a SQL Server DBA, with strong knowledge of SQL Server 2016+ and performance tuning skills.
The position offers a salary of up to £450 per day and is outside IR35 regulations.
Ideal candidates will have experience in an ITIL-driven environment and excellent problem-solving abilities.

SQL DBArequired to join our client on an initial 6 month contract. You’ll be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL Server databases in a hybrid working environment. You’ll work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance of critical systems. Key Responsibilities:

Database administration, performance tuning, and optimization
Managing backups, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
Ensuring database security and compliance with industry standards
Supporting database migrations and upgrades
Troubleshooting and resolving database issues efficiently

Requirements:

Proven experience as a SQL Server DBA
Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2016+
Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure/AWS) is desirable
Experience working in an ITIL-driven environment
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
