UK Top 100 Firm Seeking an Experienced Compliance & Risk Manager With a Pathway to Seniority on The Horizon

A position that should be a consideration for any SRA regulated compliance professional with ambition to progress to "Head of" and play a leading role at a highly successful legal 500 ranked law practice.

This full-service legal practice has grown to c400 staff over a number of years and have numerous offices across The Southeast and London. They are seeking an experienced, dynamic and personable individual to take on what is a highly varied role that would see you involved across the practice on many levels, engaging with senior management, heads of department and the firm as a whole on a daily basis.

A key function of the role is to engage with the firm in an advisory capacity to field enquiries, provide solutions and identify risk, managing the line between commercial success and remaining within regulatory requirements. This where your expert knowledge of SRA guidelines and understanding of risk will really excel. Requiring , personality, tact, a level gravitas and an ability to be robust when required to protect the safety and ongoing success of the practice!

In addition, you'll have involvement and responsibility for other key aspects that are vital to the firm's future success, such as training (devising and implementing), managing/implementing policy, complaint handling (inc. serious/ongoing complaints) PI renewal, accreditation to professional standards bodies.

The role can be based out of a number of the firms locations across the Southeas including London and occasional travel to other offices will also be required.

The role offers a good overall remuneration package with quoted salary being a "guide" rather than set in stone, future prospects to take on the overall management of the entire department are very much a prospect with this role in particular being viewed as a natural succession pathway
