Skilled Careers are currently working on behalf of currently working on behalf of a regional contractor delivering new build, design and build and refurbishment solutions to the public and private sector.

The client is looking for an experienced Document Controller with knowledge of contract documentation, environmental legislation and issues, risk management and life cycle cost; preferably gained within a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, organize, and track project documentation using Variois EDMS Systems.
  • Ensure all project documents are correctly filed, archived, and accessible for team members.
  • Perform regular audits and ensure compliance with project standards, timelines, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to maintain document accuracy and version control.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, drawings, and other essential documents.
  • Implement and uphold best practices in document control processes across projects.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of document control practices, systems, and standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in construction, engineering, or similar industries is a plus.
