Reed Education are supporting a lovely primary school based in Brighton who are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team on a supply basis initially. This role will be a full time position, supporting a student with Autism. 

This role is crucial in facilitating the student’s access to learning activities and ensuring their safety. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the implementation of ECHP and promoting an inclusive learning environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with children who have special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of the needs of children with Autism and the ability to engage them effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and the promotion of equal opportunities.
  • First aid certification is preferred but not essential.
