General Teaching Assistant (Primary School) - Brighton

Are you passionate about working with young learners?We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and supportive Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school community in Brighton.
About the Role:As a General Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support students in their learning and development. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with classroom management and delivering focused, small-group support
- Helping to prepare resources and materials for lessons
- Providing one-on-one support for students with additional learning needs
- Supporting students with reading, writing, numeracy, and other areas of the curriculum
- Encouraging positive behaviour and helping to foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Supervising students during playtimes, lunch breaks, and other activities

Experience, Training and Qualifications
- GCSE's or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year working with children
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
Eligibility
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
