Responsibilities of an Ecologist:
- Conduct a variety of protected species surveys.
- Prepare Phase 1 habitat reports and advise on Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG).
- Write ecological reports including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs), Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), and Ecological Impact Assessments (ECIAs).
Requirements for the role of an Ecologist include:
- Proven experience in an ecological consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of UK habitats and protected species.
- Demonstrated ability in writing high-quality ecological reports.
- A passion for making a difference in environmental conservation.
