We are seeking a Sustainability Consultant with a focus on IESVE to join a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy. Our client is a leading player in the sustainable design and energy performance space, committed to driving environmental innovation in the built environment. Key Responsibilities of the Sustainability Consultant:
- Conduct energy and environmental performance analysis using IESVE software.
- Provide expert guidance on Building Regulations Part L and Part O compliance for new and existing buildings.
- Support energy assessments and calculations for planning applications and building certifications, including SBEM.
- Collaborate with design teams to implement sustainable solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead sustainability assessments and contribute to the development of energy strategies that meet regulatory and client requirements.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure effective project delivery.
The Ideal Sustainability Consultant will:
- Have detailed working knowledge of Building Regulations Part L, including energy performance requirements.
- Have extensive experience in IESVE software for energy modelling and environmental simulations.
- Be familiar with Part O regulations concerning overheating and SBEM (Simplified Building Energy Model).
- Have a background in sustainable building design, energy efficiency, and low-carbon technology.
- Have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide clear solutions.
- Have excellent communication and client management skills.
- Ideally be a qualified OCDEA or NDEA
