We are partnering with a leading independent chartered accountancy firm in Brighton, East Sussex to hire an Accounts Manager to join their growing Business Services team.
This is a newly created role, and offers great variety and room for personal development. The team works with a range of industries,including the gaming, technology, and creative sectors, giving you exposure to a range of clients and challenges. The firm invests in its people, with a commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a supportive and fun working environment.
The role:
You will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients - preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and tax returns, and providing tax planning advice and a range of business support. You will also be involved in supporting and developing more junior members of the team and be encouraged to engage in business development for the firm
About You:
- You've previously worked with a range of SME businesses within a UK accountancy practice.
- You're ACA/ACCA qualified (or similar) with at least a couple of years of post qualification experience
- You're proactive, curious, and a great communicator
