- Managing a team of AR
- Experience of presenting to senior stakeholders/board level staff
- Experience of working with cost centre managers
- Able to demonstrate through key achievements where you have collected a large sum of money owed, reduced and improved the way collections are managed
- Managing a team of credit controllers which will include all appraisals, target setting and performance reviews
- Manage the recruitment process for new recruits
- Responsible for the production of the debt analysis report (reporting risks, variances and further action)
- Responsible for cashflow forecasting on a monthly basis
- Analysis of aged debt report - responsible for distributing workload
- Working with in-house lawyer to escalate overdue debt/assist with litigation proceedings when appropriate
- Work closely with budget holders to ensure their debt portfolio is being managed effectively
- Work with the sales director to ensure problematic accounts are managed accordingly
- Present debt analysis to stakeholders
- Ad hoc project work - systems upgrades etc
- Maintain financial controls
