Key Responsibilities:Provide expert tax advisory services across corporate and personal tax issuesPrepare tax calculations to support advisory work and client strategiesDraft comprehensive tax reports and letters of adviceLiaise with HMRC on clearance applications and tax enquiriesWork closely with clients and attend meetings with senior team membersOversee and review the work of junior staff, providing training and guidanceSupport Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group on complex tax planning matters

Examples of Work You Will Assist With:Corporate restructures, EIS/SEIS investor reliefs, and staff incentive schemesSuccession planning and remuneration strategies for owner-managed businessesPreparation of R&D tax claims, VAT returns, and SDLT returnsTax advice on Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning and Capital Gains Tax (CGT) mitigation

Skills and Qualifications:

CTA Qualified, or ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong interest in pursuing the CTA qualificationExperience in corporate taxes is essential; experience in other tax areas is a plusStrong analytical and communication skills, with excellent attention to detailAbility to manage deadlines and budgets while maintaining a high standard of workGood IT skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and development
