Our client is looking for a Corporation Tax Senior Manager to manage tax compliance, provide advisory support, mentor team members, and build strong client relationships. If this sounds like you, here's what you need:

  • Qualified in ACA, ACCA, AAT, or CTA
  • Over 2 years of experience in corporation tax (accounting experience considered; advisory experience preferred)
  • Confident in communicating with clients and HMRC
  • Personable and approachable

A day in this role will look like this:

  • Contribute to and support various advisory projects, including in-depth reviews of capital allowances, R&D claims, group restructures, and corporation tax due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Play a key role in delivering corporate tax compliance services, including preparing tax disclosures and computations for submission to HMRC for high-complexity clients such as corporate groups, private equity-backed businesses, and large owner-managed businesses.
  • Oversee and review the work of junior colleagues on simpler client cases.
  • Handle quarterly instalment payment calculations.
  • Stay informed on contentious tax matters, managing risks and providing sound advice to clients.
  • Mentor and guide junior colleagues in their professional development.
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships across internal tax teams, the broader firm, and clients, ensuring a trusted and commercial partnership.
