We are looking for a Relationship Director to join a successful BRIDGING FINANCE lender in the South of England!

Are you based in or around BRIGHTON, PORTSMOUTH OR THE SOUTH COAST?

Do you have a background in BRIDGING FINANCE, within a FIELD BASED CAPACITY with an EXISTING CONTACT BOOK?

Do you understand HOW TO PULL A BRIDGING DEAL TOGETHER, including writing Credit Papers, attending Site Visits, and managing deals through to Completion?

DEFC Group are proud to be working exclusively with our client, who have impressive growth plans and a real focus on customer service, with their search to add a Relationship Director to their sales team.

The Relationship Director role will entail:

  • Maintaining regular contact with existing Intermediary introducers, as well as building your own panel of Brokers
  • Proactively managing accounts across the South Coast and South of England to ensure they are keeping the business offering at the forefront of their mind
  • Writing credit papers to present to the Credit Panel, making a case for lending but also identifying the potential risks to the business
  • Performing Site Visits, liaising with Legal Representatives, managing an Internal Business Development Manager and working with the Underwriting team in a harmonious manner
  • Managine cases in Pipeline to ensure they get over the finish line smoothly
  • Maintaining a visual presence with proactive Introducer meetings on a regular basis

What do we need from our next Relatioship Director?

  • A strong background in BRIDGING FINANCE is ESSENTIAL, working for a Lender ideally
  • A proactive, friendly personality profile with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Hardworking and honest, with plenty of 'get up and go' to ensure sufficient meeting levels are achieved
  • A solid understanding on how to pull a viable Bridging Finance deal together
  • Someone who is creative, enthusiastic, and customer focused
