Consultancy / MEP / Building Services Design / CAD Technician / BIM / Revit Technician
In this role you will be part of a friendly collaborative consultancy providing innovative design services to a variety of sectors including education and health. Sustainability is at the heart their designs as is being at the forefront of the latest technologies and digital engineering.
Responsibilities
- Producing detailed, coordinated service models accurately.
- Collaborating with the MEP team to deliver quality BIM projects to agreed deadlines.
- Advising and guiding on the planning and management of advanced Revit techniques.
- Quality control of BIM models and associated drawings, schedules etc.
- Developing sketches and concepts into drawing details with a good understanding of the engineering practices behind them.
- Proficient in the use of Revit and AutoCAD, to draw/model MEP services.
- Communicating with the engineers.
Experience and Skills Required
- Alongside total proficiency in using Revit and CAD, you’ll have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the building services sector.
- Confident producing detailed and accurate technical drawings at RIBA work stages ranging from 2-6, 3D models, and construction documents across Revit and CAD.
- Collaborate with engineers to identify and resolve design issues.
- Experience of PAS 1192-2 BIM Level 2 would be beneficial.
