Our client are seeking a full-time, Fire Alarm Engineer with electrical knowledge. The Fire Alarm Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing fire alarm systems, conducting inspections, testing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
The role serves clients across East Sussex in various sectors including commercial, domestic, business, local authorities, schools, and housing associations.
Fire Alarm Engineer Salary & Benefits- £41,500 (DOE)
- 40 Hour Working Week
- Van + Fuel Card
- 21 Days Holiday + BH + One day of each year of service

The ideal candidate would be required to-
- Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems
- Conduct inspections and tests of fire alarm equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarm systems
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations
- Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver high-quality service
- Strong knowledge of Fire Protection Engineering and Fire Safety
- Experience Commissioning Fire Alarm Panels (Essential)
- 18th Edition certification (Essential)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant certifications in Fire Alarm Systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
