As the Pub Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of The Royal Oak, delivering exceptional service, managing the team, and ensuring the pub maintains its reputation as a local favourite. Youll have the freedom to shape the direction of the business while upholding its traditions and values.
Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of the pub, including bar, kitchen, and customer service.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a motivated and friendly team, creating a positive work culture.
Customer Experience: Maintain high standards of hospitality, ensuring customers have a memorable experience.
Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and monitor profitability. Handle cash flow, stock control, and supplier relationships.
Compliance: Ensure the pub adheres to health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Marketing & Events: Work with the team to promote the pub through social media, community events, and special promotions.
Problem-Solving: Handle any operational or customer-related challenges swiftly and effectively.
Proven experience in managing a pub, restaurant, or hospitality venue.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
Passion for great food, drink, and top customer service.
Business minded individual, solid focus on achieving financial targets and growth.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of licensing laws, health & safety, and food hygiene regulations.
