Role Overview

As the Pub Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of The Royal Oak, delivering exceptional service, managing the team, and ensuring the pub maintains its reputation as a local favourite. Youll have the freedom to shape the direction of the business while upholding its traditions and values.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of the pub, including bar, kitchen, and customer service.

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a motivated and friendly team, creating a positive work culture.

  • Customer Experience: Maintain high standards of hospitality, ensuring customers have a memorable experience.

  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and monitor profitability. Handle cash flow, stock control, and supplier relationships.

  • Compliance: Ensure the pub adheres to health, safety, and licensing regulations.

  • Marketing & Events: Work with the team to promote the pub through social media, community events, and special promotions.

  • Problem-Solving: Handle any operational or customer-related challenges swiftly and effectively.
