Reed Brighton is excited to be partnering with a creative and innovative international restaurant who are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager for their new restaurant opening in the vibrant city of Brighton. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and shape the success of a prestigious culinary brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and optimise the restaurant’s performance independently.
  • Utilise your experience in mobilising new restaurant openings to ensure a smooth and successful launch.
  • Recruit, lead, and inspire a dedicated restaurant team through the opening phase and thereafter.
  • Assist in the delivery and upskilling of team members, preparing them for the restaurant’s opening and ongoing success.
  • Manage daily operations, maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.
  • Demonstrate strong financial acumen, focusing on cost efficiency and effective financial management.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager and Operations Director, actively participating in P&L meetings and strategizing to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to communicate and implement company policies and people strategies, fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
  • Prioritise Health and Safety, ensuring the restaurant meets and exceeds regulatory standards through rigorous protocols and regular inspections.
