Our public sector client are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis. The role will work as part of the Telephony Modernisation project responsible for deploying MS Teams and Mobile Phones. The main duty will be to perform a due diligence check on survey responders to ensure the desired device choice is fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the business analysts, ICT consultants, project and programme managers in further developing and improving project and programme management processes, procedures and techniques.
• Responsible for devising and developing support systems including identifying required data elements and data collection, maintenance and retrieval methods.
• Manage and maintain project and programme team templates, process and procedure documents and repositories (eg Project Register and Change Management design and content).
• Manage and maintain project and programme recording and reporting systems and coordinating progress and highlight reporting to the Head of ICT Change Delivery, senior ICT management team and Corporate Programme Management Office, project and programme boards.
• Accountable for producing accurate project plans and monitoring targets and milestones
• Responsible for preparing and monitoring resource forecasts and utilisation.
• Accountable for the accurate monitoring of all project budgets and financial controls.
• Responsible for managing and maintaining risk and issue, action and decision logs.
