Legal Assistant (conveyancing)

We are seeking a proactive Legal Assistant to join our conveyancing team. The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of conveyancing procedures including completion, stamping, and registration. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conducting matter opening and closing.
- Drafting property contracts and transfers.
- Preparing and coordinating completions.
- Handling stamping and registration tasks.
- Providing administrative support for compliance issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information accurately.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanour when interacting with clients and colleagues.
- A relevant qualification in law or paralegal studies is advantageous but not essential.
