Our client, an established law firm, is seeking an experienced legal cashier to join their friendly team.
The successful candidate must have prior legal cashiering experience and will be responsible for advertising funds received in bank accounts and processing e-chits.
They will also need to ensure all AML documentation is received and complete checks before posting to the ledger.
Additional duties include assisting the Senior Cashier with Land Registry tasks, posting expenses, and covering billing during holidays.
The position offers a salary of £30,000 per year and requires at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Our client, an established law firm is seeking an experienced legal cashier to join an established, friendly team. The successful candidate will have legal cashiering experience.

Advertise funds received in bank accounts
Process all the e-chits and ensure all documentation has been received for credits and debits
Query all AML has been ticked /received and do checks and ensure all requests are in order before posting to ledger and processing
Query all receipts in bank on chat when documentation or reference has not been received by bank Very time consuming task.
Assist Senior Cashier with Land Registry and other tasks when necessary or able
Post expenses
Cover billing when necessary/ holiday cover
General queries re receipts and payments
Assist with processing of client card payments when necessary
