Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a UK leading Planning Consultancy who are seeking an experienced Associate Planner to join their Planning and Development team in Brighton!

In this role, you will play an integral role in shaping the future of communities, advising clients on planning policies, and contributing to high-profile development projects. You will provide consultancy services to a diverse range of clients, including private developers, public sector organizations, and corporate clients, across a multitude of sectors from residential, commercial, and industrial, to infrastructure, energy, and more.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in Town Planning or a related field.
  • Chartered membership of the RTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute) or working towards it.
  • Previous experience in town planning, with a proven track record of delivering planning applications and strategic planning advice.
  • Knowledge of planning policy and legislation in the UK.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
