Hyde is looking to recruit a Gas Engineer

As a Gas Engineer at Hyde you will be working within Property Services to provide a responsive and professional gas installations service to residents ensuring all work sites are adequately protected and maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Installation of domestic gas boilers and associated equipment.
  • Maintain and monitor the supply, stock and use of materials.
  • Participate in the 'out of hours’ service delivery on a rota basis (Currently every 1 in 6 weeks)
  • Act as a liaison between residents and internal teams to ensure any property-related issues are highlighted and resolved promptly
  • Raise any non-compliance or process failures with managers.
  • Undertake any required repairs in order to maintain high levels of safety, security and working conditions across The Hyde Group properties (including vehicles and tools) in compliance with current policies and procedures:

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a domestic gas engineer
  • Great customer service skills
  • Essential qualifications: CCN1, CKR1, CENWAT,
  • Desirable but not essential - HTR1, CONGLP1PD, Unvented Hot Water Systems.
