Medical Secretary

Are you an experienced Medical Secretary/Receptionist, looking to start a new position within a well-established company, with an immediate start?

Our client based in Central Brighton is seeking a Medical Secretary to join their team on a permanent basis. Hours are Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week (or 4 days a week/30 hours) for the right person. This is a fully office-based role.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Providing administrative office support, filing, scanning, post duties
  • First point of contact for queries via telephone and emails
  • Liaising with hospitals and community services, ensuring referrals are processed efficiently
  • Booking and scheduling meetings
  • Attending meetings and typing up minutes, ensuring all reports and agendas are correct
  • Preparing refreshments and setting up IT equipment for meetings
  • Providing ad hoc admin duties as required by management
  • Responsible for ensuring GDPR regulations are followed

To be successful for this position, you must have medical secretarial experience with medical terminology knowledge. You must also have strong typing skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload. You must be proficient in all Microsoft Office software such as Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint and ideally available to start immediately.
