Office Manager

Our client pride themselves on maintaining the highest standards on everything they do, they’re looking for an experienced Office Manager to join their team and contribute to their continued success.

As the Office Manager you will have authority to make decisions relating to staff, suppliers, customers and third parties. You will be responsible for facilitating the efficient functioning of the office, this will include a variety of administrative, financial, clerical and managerial tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Financial Director with financial accounting, including quarterly VAT, PAYE, bank reconciliations and paying supplier bills
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth office operations
  • Develop, document and implement clear and effective office procedures. Regularly review and update processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Mentor and coach staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Provide training and support to ensure team members excel in their roles
  • Respond to supplier, staff and customer enquiries and complaints in a timely manner
  • Arrange regular testing for safety devices and electrical equipment

Skills:

  • Experienced at using a range of office software, including Quickbooks, emails, databases and spread sheets
  • Experienced in office administration, with proven track record of working to ISO standards
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to multi task and manage deadlines effectively
  • Staff management experience with ability to promote staff development and carry out training
  • Supply management
