Senior Payroll Administrator for a large firm of Chartered Accountants in Brighton.

Have you gained strong payroll experience in Practice or Industry but feel that you have the potential to develop further in your next role? Would you like to work as part of a large and sociable team? If so then I have a great opportunity to join a leading firm of Chartered Accountants.  To be considered, you will have previous payroll experience – this could be from an Accountancy Practice, but my client is happy to consider candidates from an industry background. What is most important is that you can demonstrate a good eye for detail and a desire to learn along with excellent communication skills.  Main duties will include:

  • Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner from start to finish
  • Create and maintain payroll records
  • Calculate part months & holiday
  • Manage statutory payments
  • Process P45’s
  • Liaise with clients, clarifying calculations as necessary.
  • Managing client pension schemes via a multiple of pension providers ie setting up and monthly uploading.
