This well-known regional law firm is looking for a Risk & Compliance Manager to join their central Brighton office, sitting within a team of four highly skilled professionals who share an ethos of support and collaboration. You will work closely with them on a hybrid basis, assessing matters under the umbrella of risk and compliance within the legal sector while demonstrating your methodical approach and attention to detail. For this role, you will have:
  • Ideally, at least three years of experience in a risk- and compliance-associated role within the legal sector.

  • Relevant professional qualifications, from bodies such as the Institute of Risk Management and the Chartered Insurance Institute.

  • Knowledge of the Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct, legislation on Data Protection and Money Laundering, Criminal Finances Act 2017, Bribery Act 2010, and the Financial Services & Markets Act

You will become an instrumental member of this firm, assessing the above while also imparting your knowledge and utilising managerial skills to educate and train junior staff, thus upholding the firm's values of innovation and progression.
