Senior Lettings Negotiator

Salary: £29k + OTE, incentives + a great benefit package

Location: Brighton

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-17.30pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays 10am - 4pm

If so, I have a fantastic opportunity to join my client’s independent agency lettings team based in Brighton.

You will already have a worked within lettings and have a genuine passion for property and enjoy being proactive and sales focused and working in a close-knit team that support each other.

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with incoming queries from new applicants via email and phone.
  • Registering applicants and discussing appropriate properties that they might be interested in.
  • Booking in viewings and organising the diary for the rest of the team.
  • Overseeing viewing agents and tacking their performance to ensure all workflow tasks are met.
  • Generating new business opportunities and implementing new strategies to support successful marketing activities.
  • Assist in training new members of the team.
  • Liasing and negotiating new lets with new tenants and landlords.
  • Update and create good relationships with landlords.
  • Utilising software and IT platforms to generate maximum interest on your new properties to let.
  • Negotiating terms with landlords and attending market appraisals.
  • Updating the inhouse property CRM system accurately.
  • Analysing the lettings team performance, conversion rates and KPI’s.
  • Proactively drive the growth of the department and contribute to improvement ideas.

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:

  • Proven background within lettings and thrive in a proactive working environment.
  • Results driven, proactive and hard working.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability generate new business opportunities.
  • Enjoys working in a team and want to assist the Lettings Manager in the management of the viewing agents.
  • Confident, personable and customer focused.
  • Good IT skills and have a genuine passion for the industry.
  • Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
