Property Manager

Salary: £28k - £30k DOE and company benefit package

Location: Brighton - Hybrid (3 days office - 2 days remote)

Hours: Mon- Fri 9am - 6pm

Do you have a proven background in property management and want to work for a forward-thinking organisation that will put you through your ARLA qualification? If so, my client is looking for bright, dynamic and an adaptable Property Manager to join their team of four based out of their modern and central offices in Brighton.

This role is hybrid position, and you are not expected to be out in the field at all so it is 100% office based where you will be looking after their client’s portfolio of residential properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and responding to landlord and tenant property queries and issues
  • Proactive communication with both the landlord and tenant and compiling relevant reports
  • Obtaining quotations and instructing contractors
  • Organising check-out appointments and distribute reports for inventory and check out
  • Keeping property records up to date
  • Setting up and closing utilities
  • Organise timely safety checks and any required remedial works to completion
  • Distribution of safety records to all relevant parties
  • End of tenancy report evaluation, damage proposals to the landlord and management of the deposit distribution

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:

  • Proven background in property management.
  • Great communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with the landlords.
  • Excellent IT skills, Word, Excel and using different property CRM systems and IT platforms.
  • Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and professional.
