Are you a passionate Psychology Graduate looking for an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team, supporting children with diverse learning needs in schools across Brighton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support for children with SEN (e.g. Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties).
  • Implement tailored strategies to help children engage with the curriculum and develop their social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
  • Assist in the development of personalized learning plans.
  • Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and SEN coordinators to ensure the child’s needs are met.
  • Observe and report on progress, making adjustments to support plans as needed.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A degree in Psychology (or related field).
  • Passion for working with children and supporting those with SEN.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with students and staff.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in SEN support or education is a plus but not required.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
