Location: Brighton
Position: Part-time, 3 days a week

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Brighton. This role focuses on supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and challenging behaviours. You will play a crucial role in helping these students navigate their educational journey, providing both academic and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN and challenging behaviours.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized learning plans.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adapting strategies as necessary.
  • Promote positive behaviour and manage challenging situations effectively.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with SEN students and managing challenging behaviour.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students.
