Primary Intervention Teacher
Do you hold a current UK QTS or Degree with teaching experience?
Engage Education is currently working with schools based in Brighton & Hove who are urgently seeking caring and enthusiastic teachers (across KS1-KS2) to start at either Easter or sooner. We have schools looking for short-term, long-term and permanent placements.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting children with Social and Emotional Needs, and able to teach across KS1-KS2. A strong sense of behaviour management is important.
You will be working with small groups of children, supporting them both academically and often socially/emotionally as well.
We are looking for innovative, compassionate, and resilient educators with experience or a strong desire to work with children with SEND needs.

The right Teacher will have the following:

- Some experience within SEND / SEMH preferable
- Passionate about supporting students and their social and emotional journey
What do I need?
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Flexibility, enthusiasm and motivation to deliver great lessons
- Understanding of SEND
- Behaviour management skills
- An ability to adhere to and implement schools’ various policies
