Plumber Multi Trade

Delta Personnel is searching for a skilled Plumber/Multi-Trader in Brighton

We're on the lookout for a Plumber/Multi-Trader specialist to join an existing Facilities Maintenance Team in Brighton. This role involves leading plumbing projects and supporting specialist trades in a commercial setting.

Duties

• Maintain and repair hot and cold-water systems including installing and removing dishwashers and washing machines
• Maintain and repair heating systems (Gas Safe certification desirable but not essential)
• Maintain drainage systems and carry out new installations and alterations
• Analyse issues and identify the appropriate tools and materials for repairs
• Perform high-level maintenance, including clearing gutters and roof repairs using harnesses
• Tiling, decorating, occasional groundwork, lead work repairs and non-plumbing maintenance
• Safely utilise ladders and erect tower scaffolding
• Support other trades within the department as needed
• Attend training courses for continuous learning
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies and report any suspicious activities
• Participate in out-of-hours on call system after completing probation

Qualifications and Skills

• Level 3 City & Guilds 6035 / NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing
• Legionella awareness training (desirable but not essential)
• Experience in general plumbing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Problem solving abilities

Working Hours / Salary / Holiday

• 08:00 - 17:00 | 40 hours paid per week | 1-hour unpaid lunch break)
• Post-probation, join the on-call rota with additional pay (On call / Call out)
• Annual salary of £35,000
• 23 days of holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 28 after two years
