SJC is recruiting for a newly qualified Audit Senior for a Top 50 accountancy firm based in Bristol.
The ideal candidate must be ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
Key responsibilities include planning and executing audit assignments, supervising junior team members, and ensuring compliance with legislation and accounting standards.

SJC are currently managing the recruitment process for a Top 50 Bristol based accountancy firm, who are currently seeking a newly qualified Audit Senior to join their ambitious and expanding team. This position will offer excellent career progression opportunities as well as significant personal development. The role will involve -

Reporting to Managers and Partners
Planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment
Undertaking audit tasks including planning, testing, reviewing and reporting for final Manager and Partner review
Ensuring that the accounts comply with applicable legislation and accounting standards
Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members
Preparing and reviewing statutory financial reports.

The ideal candidate will:

Be ACA/ACCA Qualified
Have a good understanding of UK GAAP
Have a minimum 3 years working within an accountancy practice environment
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be driven, willing, confident and the ability to demonstrate initiative
Be well organised and have great time management
