Role Responsibilities
  • Managing and executing all aspects of audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and completion
  • Reporting directly to Director level and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
  • Working with a variety of clients, from smaller businesses to £40m turnover companies
  • Maintaining and developing strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Completing non-audit assignments, such as financial statement preparation
  • Participating in ad-hoc projects including management accounting, corporate finance, and due diligence work
  • Supporting the development of non-audit assurance services to expand the business offering
  • Assisting with internal compliance reviews and improving audit quality and efficiency

Candidate Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified with significant audit experience
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in audit, preferably within a range of industries
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with industry-specific accounting practices and treatments is desirable
  • Knowledge of VAT reporting, management accounting, and corporation tax is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain client relationships
