The Role:

  • Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, ensuring a high level of client service delivery.
  • Provide expert tax advice on a range of issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Manage the business tax advisory and compliance work on a client portfolio.
  • Contribute to business development activities, identifying new opportunities for growth within the tax department.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and advise on the implications for the firm and its clients.
  • You will take the lead in ensuring the staff under your responsibility are mentored, developed, and helped to thrive, in addition to supporting and mentoring more junior members of the management team with your strong technical knowledge.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance.
  • Familiarisation with personal and business tax regulations, plus VAT and PAYE.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Full driving licence, plus unrestricted access to a car (preferred).

Qualifications:

  • ACA/ACA/CTA qualified with a strong background in tax
