This role requires a meticulous Corporate Tax Partner who is adept at tax planning and strategy. The candidate will be responsible for leading the Tax department, providing expert guidance and advice to the firms client base.

Our client is a large professional services firm, boasting a workforce of over 500 employees in the South West. With a robust presence in Bristol, they provide a diverse range of services and advice to a variety of businesses, ranging from small start-ups to large multinational corporations. Throughout the last 4 years, this firm has experienced exponential growth and is continuing to do so. In order to maintain this success, we need to source a Tax leader to support.

Description

  • Leading the corporate tax department and setting strategic tax objectives.
  • Providing expert advice on tax planning and strategy to clients.
  • Liaising with clients to understand their business and tax needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff within the tax department.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Representing the firm at industry events and conferences.
  • Keeping abreast of latest changes in tax laws and regulations.

Profile

A successful Corporate Tax Partner should have:

  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing a tax department.
  • Profound knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Professional certification (ACA,ACCA, CTA).
  • Commutable to the Bristol office (although very flexible working on offer)
