Your new companyA market leading business based in Bristol is looking for a Financial Accountant to join the business on a Fixed Term Contract to start in April 2025.Your new roleYou will report into the Head of Accounting and Reporting and be responsible for preparing and owning cashflow reporting, supporting statutory financial reporting and ensuring there are robust controls in place across the business. You will partner with internal finance teams, external auditors and other key stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial reporting and insights. The role will include:

  • Lead in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS
  • Preparation and ownership of monthly cashflow reports
  • Review month end close
  • Supporting financial controls ensuring they are accurate and compliant
  • Work with the wider finance teams and external stakeholders
  • Support agendas for change or business improvement

What you'll need to succeedWe are looking for someone that will be available to start a contract in April / early May and will run for 15 months. You must have strong IFRS and financial statement preparation and proven experience in cashflow reporting. You will be able to analyse complex financial data and translate that into meaningful insights to be used by the wider business. It would also be advantageous if you had Microsoft D365 experience. The role is easily commutable from the m4 / m5, and you must be able to access the office every week, although hybrid working is available.
