Location: Remote - Can be based anywhere in the UK, Must be able to work in Bristol for initial onboarding of 2 days and then it will move to 2 office visits a month.
Salary: Day Rate of £400 a day (umbrella)
Duration: 6 month fixed term contract
Robert half is working with a client to recruit for a Financial Accountant for a six-month contract. This is a great role for someone with an IFRS 15 background and is looking for their next contract opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver accurate month-end reports in compliance with accounting standards
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes in line with strategic objectives
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to provide valuable insights for decision-making
- Ensure compliance with IFRS 15 and other regulatory requirements
- Assist with audit processes, including control testing and implementation of recommendations
- Provide technical accounting support and address financial reporting queries
- Contribute to risk reporting and support control improvement initiatives
- Assist with finance transformation projects and process improvements
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 and financial reporting standards
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
