A large plc based with offices across the UK is recruiting a Financial Accountant to support a key accounting area focusing on best practice, process improvement and financial controls. The company offers very flexible, mainly remote working with just 1 or 2 days a month in their Bristol office. The main responsibilities of the Financial Accountant include:
  • Management of fixed assets registers.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and making recommendations.
  • Collaborating across finance and the business on best practice initiatives.
The ideal candidate for this Financial Accountant role is likely to:
  • Be a late stage studier, newly qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
  • Possess good financial / statutory accounting knowledge.
  • Be an excellent communicator who enjoys working collaboratively.
