Marks Sattin is working in exclusive partnership with a Bristol based SME to recruit a Financial Accountant on an interim basis for a period of 3 to 6 months. This will be an opportunity to join a business as it looks to improve controls and processes, adjust reporting standards and be actively involved with daily tasks or running a small but growing business. This role will support the Financial Controller in a hands on role covering daily transactional tasks alongside month end work.

This role would suit a Financial/Management Accountant with a background in SME businesses that is happy to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in.

This role will be paying between £18 and £20 PAYE per hour and possibility of a permanent role thereafter.

Financial Accountant Key Responsibilities Include:

Oversight of day to day operational finance areas including transactional finance, management and financial accounting with support of a small team
Assist the Financial Controller with month end management accounts preparation
Bank reconciliations
Balance sheet reconciliations
Credit Control and Sales Ledger responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be:

Actively studying ACCA/CIMA/ACA or qualified by experience considered
Strong attention to detail and reconciliations experience
Proactive approach to this hands on role with good scope for progression
Intermediate Excel experience (pivot tables, lookups and data manipulation)
