We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Financial Controller to lead the finance function, drive operational excellence, and partner closely with the executive team on strategic decisions. This is a unique opportunity to step into a key leadership role in a high-growth tech business.
What You’ll Be Doing

Lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Own the month-end and year-end close processes, including reporting and reconciliations.

Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.

Provide detailed performance analysis and strategic financial insights to the leadership team.

Partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.

Build and develop a high-performing finance team to support the next stage of growth.

Drive system and process improvements in line with the scale-up journey.
What We’re Looking For

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience.

Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager, ideally in a software, SaaS, or high-growth tech environment.

Strong understanding of financial reporting, IFRS/UK GAAP, and tax compliance.

Confident using financial software tools (e.g., NetSuite, Xero, or similar platforms).

Commercially astute, tech-savvy, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, agile business.

Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
