With an aim of maintaining profitable growth and increasing market share through a commitment to customer service and innovation, our client is looking for a Financial Controller to make a valuable contribution to this expansion.The RoleAs the head of the Finance team, you will report directly to the Board to provide financial leadership and maximise value creation, whilst ensuring legal compliance, and managing risks to the business. This role will provide the opportunity to play a key part in the on-going upwards trajectory of a high growth privately owned SME. Responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis for contract negotiation and investment opportunities, maintaining standard costing, and ensuring best practices across the business.The CandidateAs a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), you have proven experience of a leading the finance function within a manufacturing/engineering environment. You demonstrate the ability to share in the development, and growth, of continuous improvement and lean management culture change in an SME environment.
