Robert Half is working with a global organisation to recruit a Group Financial Accountant. For the right candidate this role offers:

Salary £55,000 - £60,000 + Hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days from home) + excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

Preparing and reviewing the monthly Balance Sheet pack and contributing to content for the Audit Committee and senior leadership.
Managing the monthly intercompany reconciliation process, ensuring all transactions between Group entities are recorded accurately.
Coordinating the consolidation of financial submissions from various business entities, ensuring adherence to deadlines and accuracy.
Providing technical support and guidance on Group accounting policies to local finance teams across multiple regions.
Ensuring that subsidiary companies produce UK GAAP-compliant financial statements in a timely manner.
Serving as the main point of contact for external auditors during Half Year and Year End audits.
Supporting senior management with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as required.

Experience:

Recently qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
In-depth knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP with strong technical accounting skills.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels across multiple locations.
Ability to manage tight deadlines while working under pressure.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
