Robert Half is working with a global organisation to recruit a Group Financial Accountant. For the right candidate this role offers:

Salary £55,000 - £60,000 + Hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days from home) + excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and reviewing the monthly Balance Sheet pack and contributing to content for the Audit Committee and senior leadership.
  • Managing the monthly intercompany reconciliation process, ensuring all transactions between Group entities are recorded accurately.
  • Coordinating the consolidation of financial submissions from various business entities, ensuring adherence to deadlines and accuracy.
  • Providing technical support and guidance on Group accounting policies to local finance teams across multiple regions.
  • Ensuring that subsidiary companies produce UK GAAP-compliant financial statements in a timely manner.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for external auditors during Half Year and Year End audits.
  • Supporting senior management with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as required.

Experience:

  • Recently qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP with strong technical accounting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels across multiple locations.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines while working under pressure.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
