Income Officer LOCATION:               Bristol   HOURS:                     37.5  (1:3 W/E cover)SALARY:                   £30+ PAYE DURATION: 4-6 weeks Our client, a dynamic organization committed to creating vibrant and inclusive communities, is seeking an exceptional Income Officer to join their team on a contract basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial well-being of their tenants, helping them navigate the complexities of income management and maximizing their financial resources. Highlights of the Role:

 Preferred Requirements:  
  • Demonstrated experience in income management, with a strong understanding of government benefits, tax regulations, and financial assistance programs.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trust and foster meaningful relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and problem-solving, with the ability to identify and address complex financial challenges.
  • A collaborative mindset and the capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
  • A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of our community members, driven by a commitment to social justice and equity.
 Preferred Experience:  
  • Arrears management inc. Attending, and preparing for court hearings.
  • Knowledge around yearly rent change (understanding overspend, underspend, and relating services to residents).
  • Knowledge around verifying Universal Credit claims
  • Knowledge around amending direct debits
